[Candrama] CATR Special Membership Meeting on March 21 at 6pm ET / Réunion singulière des membres de l’ACRT le 21 mars à 18 h HNE

Dear CATR Members,

CATR's public accountant Hogg Shain and Scheck (as approved by membership
at the 2021 AGM) has officially tendered its resignation. The non-profit
specialist staff person that has been attending to CATR's annual financial
reporting for several years has moved to a new firm, Adams & Miles
LLP, and Hogg
Shain and Scheck no longer has a person designated for non-profit work.
CATR's by-laws give us a very specific process for how we go about *appointing
a new public accountant* and it requires a Special Meeting of Membership.

We are asking CATR's membership to join us on a Zoom call on *March 21 at
6pm ET *for a *short 30-minute meeting* to take care of this piece of
business in time to prepare our financial statements for the AGM.

Recently, CATR's Board passed a motion, put forward by Treasurer Katrina
Dunn and seconded by Secretary Jacquey Taucar, to accept the resignation of
the public accountant approved at our 2021 Annual General Meeting, Hogg,
Shein and Scheck, which was tendered by email on February 14,
2022. Further, she moved to go to the membership to replace the public
accountant for CATR with Adams & Miles LLP.

Chers membres de l’ACRT,

L’expert-comptable de l’ACRT, Hogg Shain et Scheck (tel qu’approuvé par les
membres lors de l’AGA de 2021) a officiellement présenté sa démission. Le
personnel spécialisé à but non lucratif qui s’occupe des rapports
financiers annuels de l’ACRT depuis plusieurs années a déménagé dans un
nouveau cabinet, Adams & Miles LLP, et Hogg Shain et Scheck n’ont plus de
personne désignée pour le travail à but non lucratif. Les règlements
administratifs de l’ACRT nous donnent un processus très précis pour la
façon dont nous nommons *un nouvel expert-comptable* et cela nécessite une
assemblée singulière des membres.

Nous demandons aux membres de l’ACRT de se joindre à nous lors d’un appel
Zoom *le 21 mars à 18h HNE *pour une *courte réunion de 30 minutes* afin de
s’occuper de cette affaire à temps pour préparer nos états financiers pour
l’AGA.

Récemment, le conseil d’administration de l’ACRT a adopté une motion,
présentée par la trésorière Katrina Dunn et appuyée par la secrétaire
Jacquey Taucar, pour accepter la démission de l’expert-comptable approuvée
lors de notre assemblée générale annuelle de 2021, Hogg, Shein et Scheck,
qui a été présentée par courriel le 14 février 2022. De plus, elle a décidé
de devenir membre pour remplacer l’expert-comptable de l’ACRT par Adams &
Miles LLP.
