Led by Gabriel Friday and Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, 'Ar(c)tivism and Policing'
<http://artivism.ca/> is a digital archival project that centres on the
potency of protest art, particularly its role in advocating for change in
policing (in Nigeria), bad governance (in Bangladesh), and on an array of
systemic issues such as Black Lives Matter, racism and policing (in Canada
and the United States). It is part of Dr. Afolabi’s Canada Research Chair
research project on "Staging Justice,” supported by Theatre Emissary
International and its partner, Mobile Research Lab. More details about the
