Announcing a symposium on Language, Figuration, and Computation.

The symposium features Adele Goldberg and Laura Michaelis, major linguists,  giving keynotes, along with Jeanne Fahnestock, a very prominent Rhetorician of Science and scholar of stylistics, along with multiple papers and posters on related subjects, and a day-ending roundtable discussion including the keynote presenters. The driving theme is bringing Construction Grammar together with Rhetorical Figures in a principled way.
