[Dirssphr] next steps in process, nomination of Director of SSPHR

Dear DNC for SSPHR,

Alexie met with Ian this morning to convey the nominating committee's interest in moving him forward in the process.  Ian is happy to be moved forward and will begin to prepare a presentation for School members.

I have contacted Matt this morning to let him know we are moving forward with another candidate.

Tomorrow,  I will communicate to School members that Ian is being recommended for their consideration and that we are finalizing a date and time for him to present to the membership.  After his presentation, faculty and staff of the School will be provided with an opportunity to record their support for Ian's nomination via secret ballot.

The Nominating Committee will reconvene to consider the School vote results, then take a committee vote in order to finalize a recommendation to the Provost.

Please continue to keep our work confidential, and feel free to reach out to me with any questions.  I will be away from my e-mail for most of today, but should be able to respond tomorrow.
