When you are going to miss class due to illness, please let me know ahead of class so that I can exempt you from the activities for that week. I have CCed the TAs so that they are aware that I will waive the late penalty for your Assignment 1 submission. As for last week’s activities: there is some opportunity for compassionate leeway in the application of the late policy (within reason), but unfortunately, submitting a week later is a stretch. Try to remember to give me/us a heads up as early as possible when you run into issues, and then I can figure out suitable accommodations with you.

I acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of‎ the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes ten kilometres on each side of the Grand River, and I think that the land should be returned to them and/or they should be compensated per the treaty conditions.

Dear professor

I am sorry for not able to join the class today(26/09/2023),since I have both rhinitis and pharyngitis today.This also affected the time when I submitted assignment1 and activities. I submitted it almost three hours late.In addtion last week's activities, there was a problem with my rental. I needed to find a new place to rent a house and install beds and furniture. As a result, I apologize for forgeting to submit that assignment. I also made up for it today. I hope there is a chance to be remarked.
