Hello all:

Here is some  material relating to the Movember campaign to raise funds for
Prostate Cancer research and funding of programs for PCa survivors.

Perhaps the PCCN  Waterloo - Wellington support group would like to have a
team entered in the Movember fund raising this year. 

If all the friends, relatives, and co-workers we get to support Movember do
it through a single team in the name of our support group, it increases the
money that our group may get to support our local initiatives.

Give some thought to forming and supporting a team.

Hi Citizens of Movember,

Did you know that this year there will be official Movember campaigns in 21
countries? Having this global presence means we are uniquely placed to bring
our men's health partners from around the world together to collaborate,
listen, and learn from each other to make a tangible difference. 

When it comes to raising funds for prostate cancer, research often gets the
limelight, however what is equally important is funding programs for
prostate cancer survivors. Survivorship programs can have a dramatic impact
on the quality of life for men, their families and caregivers. In May 2012
Movember hosted the inaugural Survivorship Summit, bringing together 40
experts from 7 countries to facilitate a global approach to survivorship
programmes.                   

With this meeting of great minds, seeds have been sown all over the world to
improve the survivorship journey and to change the face of men's health.
