Invitation to attend CCSN’s second annual breakfast reception at Queen's Park on late-stage prostate cancer on September 26, 2013


 

Are you planning to be in Toronto on Thursday, September 26?

 

If so, the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network would like to invite you to join us on Thursday, September 26 at 8:30 am for our second annual breakfast reception at Queen’s Park.

 

The breakfast reception will be an opportunity for patients and caregivers alike to come together and raise awareness about metastatic or late-stage prostate cancer and to discuss the challenges that patients and their families face, and the care options available.

 

The reception, sponsored by Janssen Inc., will begin at 8:00 am with speaking remarks promptly at 8:30 am. Speakers include:

*	Deb Matthews, Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care
*	Christine Elliott, Deputy Leader of the PC Party of Ontario and Critic, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
*	France Gélinas, NDP Critic, Health and Long-Term Care
*	Dr. Srikala Sridhar, Medical Oncologist, Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Centre
*	Kevin Flynn, Liberal Member of the Provincial Parliament
*	Jackie Manthorne, President & CEO of the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network
