Opportunity for men with advanced prostate cancer living in Toronto to participate in a focus group!


 

The Canadian Cancer Survivors Network (CCSN) and Astellas Pharma Canada, Inc. would like to invite you and your spouse, or other family members, to participate in a focus group discussion on living with advanced or progressing prostate cancer on May 22, 2014. 

 

Please forward this message to any members of your group whom you think might be interested in attending.


The goal of this meeting is to better understand your experience with prostate cancer and the information/support required by men living with the condition. We would like to obtain your insight and feedback to help facilitate the development of practical, useful resources to assist men and their families throughout their journey.

 

The two-hour facilitated discussion will be held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto located 123 Queen Street West in downtown Toronto from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014. Lunch will be served for all focus group participants during the meeting.

 

We value your opinion and your input. If you and/or your spouse are interested in participating in this focus group, please email Allison Goodman at allison.goodman at energipr.com before May 16, 2014.

p.s. In addition to the focus group discussion, the Astellas team is also interested in meeting with a few members of the group for a more in-depth interview to capture individual stories. These stories may be published in magazine or newspaper articles to help raise awareness of men living with advanced prostate cancer. If this is something you might be willing to do either in person or by phone, please also let me know and the team will follow up with you directly.
