About World Cancer Day 2015

Taking place under the tagline “Not beyond us,” World Cancer Day 2015 will take a positive and proactive approach to the fight against cancer, highlighting that solutions do exist across the continuum of cancer, and that they are within our reach.

The campaign will explore how we can implement what we already know in the areas of

prevention, early detection, treatment and care, and in turn, open up to the exciting prospect that we can impact the global cancer burden – for the better.

World Cancer Day is a unique opportunity to raise awareness that there is much that can be done at an individual, community and governmental level, to harness and mobilise these solutions and catalyse positive change. By moving forward together we have the potential to show: Cancer. It is not beyond us.

The 2015 campaign will be articulated around four key areas of focus:

• Choosing healthy lives
• Delivering early detection
• Achieving treatment for all
• Maximising quality of life

be held February 5 at 1:00 PM EST. It will feature a presentation and Q&A session with Gerry Jeffcott & Rachael Manion
of 3Sixty Public Affairs.

Webinar Information

The webinar will offer a summary of the March 2014 consultant’s report prepared by IBM Healthcare Solutions for provincial/territorial governments, which addressed how to more effectively manage national product listing agreements with the innovative pharmaceutical industry.

The report, which has informed recent government decision-making, is an important touchpoint for stakeholders to understand key issues with the pCPA, stakeholders’ input on the process, proposed solutions and how IBM's recommendations are influencing the process going forward. As part of the webinar, we will discuss:

*	What IBM was asked to do
*	The input IBM received on the pCPA from governments, patients and industry
*	Options considered and recommendations made
*	Update on the development of the pCPA since the report was issued, and
*	Perspectives on how all this affects patient interests
