After the sales of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday is a time to celebrate and encourage activities that support charities and not-for-profits. Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering time, helping a neighbour or spreading the word, GivingTuesday is a movement for everyone who wants to give something back.

In Canada, Tuesday December 1st has been designated as GivingTuesday.

HopeSpring and GivingTuesday 2015

The year 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. For more than 2 decades we’ve been helping people whose lives have been touched by cancer. Thousands of people – cancer patients, their families and friends, and caregivers – have benefitted from our special programs and services, which are designed to help lessen the burden of caner.

This year, to celebrate the good work we’ve done during the last 20 years, and to mark GivingTuesday, we’ve set a goal to raise $20,000 to support the incredible work we do: $20,000 for 20 years of service.

All of our programs and services are offered FREE OF CHARGE, and we receive NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING. We are 100% reliant on donations from the community.
