As a follow-up to yesterday’s email here are a few of the clips from the TV
interviews that took place in the last few days and information about other
things we are doing:

 

TV INTERVIEWS: 

Canada AM: Tuesday, September 1st 2015

Dr. Stuart Edmonds (Vice President, Research and Survivorship)  kicked off
the month with an early morning interview on Canada AM on Tuesday, September
1st and gave an in depth overview of the three survivorship projects, as
well as general Prostate Cancer stats and Awareness issues.

CTV Morning Live Vancouver: Wednesday, September 2nd 2015

We then head to Vancouver where former Board Chair Donald McInnes sat down
and discussed the importance of early detection, an overview of the three
survivorship projects, as well as general Prostate Cancer stats and
Awareness issues.

Breakfast Television Toronto: Today – Thursday, September 3rd 2015 

Dr. Stuart Edmonds  sat down on Breakfast Television Toronto to discuss the
significance of the 1 in 8 stat, the importance of early detection and an
in-depth overview of the three survivorship projects.

RADIO INTERVIEWS: 

102.9 CHTM FM, Thompson Manitoba: Tuesday, September 1st 2015

Dr. Stuart Edmonds did a 7 minute long radio interview with a reporter with
102.9 CHTM FM located in Thompson Manitoba, focusing on awareness issues and
an overview of the three survivorship projects. The interview aired as a
packaged reporter segment throughout the course of the evening on the 1st,
as well as a straight interview during a live broadcast at 7PM local time. 

 

News 95.7FM Halifax: Wednesday, September 2nd 2015

Peter Mallette, (Executive Director, Atlantic Region) did a 10 minute live
interview on air at 4PM local time with Tyler MacLean for the Afternoon
news, focusing on Current Prostate Cancer Stats in Canada & Atlantic Region
Awareness Events including Barre all for the Bar, Pants Off and Wake Up
Call.

WHAT’S TO COME: 

Throughout the course of the next few weeks, more media interviews are being
lined up, including CP24 Toronto evening news Toronto, Global Morning News
Toronto, Breakfast Television Calgary, CTV Morning Live Halifax and Global
Morning News Halifax, to name a few. As well as small radio station
interviews intertwined.
