Speaker - Nelly Faghani

She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, International Continence Society, International Pelvic Pain Society and International Urogynecology Association and is a Committee Member for International Continence Society (Physiotherapy and Children and Young Adults). Nelly currently owns and operates 5 physiotherapy clinics in the GTA. She has been exclusively treating pelvic floor dysfunction since 1998 and continues to see clients full time at 3 facilities around the GTA. She has developed an educational company in 2009 called Pelvic Health Solutions that teaches postgraduate courses to registered physiotherapists who are interested in treating pelvic floor dysfunctions and is an ongoing mentor to many physiotherapists currently practicing pelvic health.

Nelly has spoken at various rounds, symposiums and conferences including The Urology Update, Canadian Ambulatory Care Conference, Ontario Physiotherapy Association Interaction Conference, Southlake Hospital OBGYN Clinical day, Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologist Annual Conference SOGC, Mount Sinai Mature Women’s Day and St. Michaels Women’s Health Symposium. Additionally, she has developed continence programs that have been implemented in many long term care facilities across Ontario and has been a spokesperson for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and she has been on Global TV discussing the role of physiotherapy for pelvic pain. Nelly has volunteered for the Canadian Continence Society in various public forums, has co-authored a chapter on incontinence in a neuro-urology text book and is currently working on research with Princess Margaret Hospital about various exercises used with PPI. Nelly is a proud mother of two amazing boys.  Her supportive husband makes everything possible!

What is an Expert Angle Webinar?

A webinar is an online tool that allows people from across Canada to have an online meeting and discuss important topics, view slide shows and interact with each other. We use a service called GoToMeeting to host these webinars.

Expert Angle is a place to exchange info and ideas through a series of webinars. You’ll have the opportunity to get important information on a wide range of topics, ask questions and communicate directly with experts in their respective fields. 

*After you’ve finished registering you’ll receive an email with the details on how to participate.

*You will be required to download the GoToMeeting software, this may take a few minutes.

*You can view the webinar through your PC where you can see the presentation, hear the speaker and ask questions.

*If you don’t have access to a PC you can still participate by calling into the 1-800 number and listening to the ongoing discussion.

*Only people with access to a PC during the webinar will be able to ask questions.

*Registration doesn't guarantee a seat. Only the first 100 registrants to sign into the webinar will be able to participate. So be on time!
