Canada went Plaid for Dad on June 17th!

The second year of Plaid for Dad saw thousands of Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast putting on their best plaid on June 17th to help protect men from prostate cancer. We are thrilled to announce that the 2016 Plaid for Dad National Workplace Champion is the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA)! In recognition of their victory, they will be presented with the prestigious Plaid Vest to display with pride in their workplace until their reign comes to an end next year. The OTA team raised an incredible $31,541 to help protect men from prostate cancer! Congratulations to the team on their victory.

A huge thank you also to McCarthy Tétrault and Borden Ladner Gervais who finished second and third respectively in fundraising. Canadians who were looking to update their plaid for this year’s campaign were able to do so through Canada’s most iconic retailer,  <http://prostatecancer.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=381dca877e43c44046caa6dd1&id=400addc781&e=b7e2b89435> Hudson’s Bay, who became the Official Retail Partner of Plaid for Dad. Through the support of the HBC Foundation, six different, limited-edition Hudson North plaid shirt designs were created, with $12 from each sale going to benefit prostate cancer research.

Active Surveillance pioneer seeks to improve prostate cancer biopsies

The 6th Annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show

On Father's Day 2016 Toronto played host to the 6th annual  <http://prostatecancer.us2.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=381dca877e43c44046caa6dd1&id=1bd3705ee9&e=b7e2b89435> Yorkville Exotic Car Show. Along Bloor Street between Avenue Road and Bay Street people were able to get up close with some of the best examples of automotive design from around the world.

Special thanks to Yorkville Exotic Car Show for their incredible support on Father's Day, raising $55,000 for life-saving prostate cancer research!

ATV Ride of Hope

More than 90 riders took part in the 2016 Do it for Dads ATV Ride of Hope on June 18th to mark Father's Day weekend in Parry Sound. A fun-filled family day in support of prostate cancer awareness was made possible through the dedication of Steve Hutton and the entire Prostate Extreme Team from Brampton. Special thanks to CFMOTO Canada for sponsoring the event, the Park to Park Trail Association for providing the course and for the terrific support of Rosseau Road PowerSports.
