We officially launched Plaid for Dad! We are asking Canadians from coast to coast to coast to  <http://prostatecancer.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=381dca877e43c44046caa6dd1&id=7d75d9d215&e=b7e2b89435> pledge to wear plaid on June 17th to help raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer.

We are thrilled to once again be supported by our National Ambassador, Vice-Admiral Mark Norman, Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy. At the launch event, we honoured the men and women in uniform who protect Canadians every day, and challenged all Canadians to put on a new kind of uniform on June 17th – plaid! – to help protect the 1 in 8 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

I’m also excited to let you know that if you’re looking to update your plaid, Hudson’s Bay has you covered!

Canada’s most iconic retailer, Hudson’s Bay has declared its support for the cause by becoming the Official Retail Partner of Plaid for Dad. Through the support of the HBC Foundation, six different, limited-edition Hudson North plaid shirt designs have been created, with $12 from each sale going to benefit prostate cancer research. The shirts are available at all Hudson’s Bay locations across Canada and at  <http://prostatecancer.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=381dca877e43c44046caa6dd1&id=d825e408ef&e=b7e2b89435> thebay.com  starting June 2nd.

People will be wearing plaid in the workplace, at the mall and on the street – all to help raise awareness and funds for the most common cancer affecting men.
