[Hopespringpcsg] ASSISTANCE WITH DRUG COSTS

Hi all:

One of our new members of PCCN W-W who has had a radical prostatectomy has
been prescribed 2 drugs.

1)      Casodex -tablets

2)      Lupron - needle injected.

The cost of the Lupron is given by his pharmacist as $1300/ shot with 4
required thru a yearlong treatment. 

 

Does anyone know of any entities that can:

1)       Assist with the cost (Trillium??)

2)       Make it available on a compassionate basis (i.e. pharmaceutical
company)

Wikipedia indicates pharma companies making it are:

1)      BAYER

2)      Telmar (as Eligard)

3)      Abbott Laboratories (as Lupron).
