[Hopespringpcsg] ROBOTIC PROSTATECTOMY FUNDING

Hi all:

At the monthly PCSG on Tuesday 22 Aug 17, the topic of ending funding for
Robotic Prostatectomy was discussed.

Attached are 2 articles on the subject.

During the PCSG meeting discussion, Bill suggested that each of us write our
MPP to urge that funding continue.

Also note that Ontario is the only province not to pay for PSA testing prior
to  being diagnosed or a direct relative of a person diagnosed with PCa.

Remember, next fall there is a provincial election and candidates are more
likely to listen to voters during the lead up to that event.

If you come up with particularly pointed wording for YOUR letter/e-mail to
your MPP that you would like to share with other members, please send it to
me.

It will be shared with other members to be used in their communications.

In your note to your MPP, mention that you are a member of Prostate Cancer
Canada Network Waterloo- Wellington.
