                                      WEDNESDAY MAY 17th - 7:00 PM  at the WELLSPRING CENTRE, 2545 SIXTH LINE in OAKVILLE

 

 

As much as we can, we try to bring guest speakers who can help us with issues of general interest to all prostate cancer patients and survivors.

 

While everyone in attendance got something of value out of Dr Loblaw’s presentation last month on advances in radiation therapy at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, other members may not have come since they didn’t feel it was applicable to them. 

 

No such excuses this month. 

Our speaker Maureen Rowlands is Director, Health Promotion and Survivorship at Prostate Cancer Canada. 

Maureen will update us on all that PCC is doing with other health care partners across Canada to develop programs which can benefit all men dealing with prostate cancer.

 

Most of these programs are being developed under the umbrella of TrueNTH Canada

TrueNTH is a Movember Foundation funded worldwide program that helps men and their families get their lives back on track following diagnosis and treatment and to improve the quality of life for men living with, and beyond, prostate cancer.
