Men on or considering active surveillance (AS) as a first-line management strategy for low-risk prostate cancer (and for some men with "favorable" intermediate-risk disease) have concerns that are very different to the "traditional" prostate cancer patient who needs first-line treatment or is dealing with more advanced forms of prostate cancer.

Prostate Cancer International has been "piloting" a virtual support group specifically for men on active surveillance over the past few months. We are pleased to be able to let people know that access to this service will be made widely available starting as of today, and the next virtual meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 6.
