HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. Our 2018 series of monthly meetings will kick off on: 

  

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 17th - 7:00 PM  at the WELLSPRING CENTRE, 2545 SIXTH LINE in OAKVILLE

 

 

Our guest speaker this month is Dr Richard Casey, urologist. 

 

Dr. Casey has had his practice in Oakville since 1984 and is a urologist within the Halton Health Care system. Many past and present members of our support group are, or have been, patients of Dr. Casey.

 

He is a friend of PCCN-Oakville/Mississauga, having spoken to our group a number of times in the past, although I was surprised to see that we have not welcomed him since April 2013 (how time flies!). Dr. Casey does not stand and lecture but prefers to sit, listen and respond. So come ready with your questions.

 

Dr Casey also did a PCC Expert Angle webinar in 2015 which is still available to view on the PCC website. What’s New at PCC

 

After five successful years under the leadership and guidance of outgoing President and CEO, Rocco Rossi, Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) is excited to announce the appointment of a most worthy successor in Peter Coleridge, past national CEO of the Canadian Mental Health Association and current national President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. Peter will begin effective February 28, 2018.

Beginning in January of 2018 Rocco Rossi will assume the role of CEO with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

P.S. thanks to some generous last-minute donations, we achieved our goal of donating $500 to the “Light Up Wellspring” campaign. A big thank you from Wellspring to all who donated. I hope you had a chance to see our wreath proudly displayed at the front entrance (see attached).
