So this doc who entered medical school in 2006 and is now a family and academic (whatever the hell that means) physician decides to not use DRE as a screening tool for PCA.
It appears he sat in a library reviewing previous literature rather than doing any real research.
As noted below, 1st PSA now DRE are out of favour.
Time to make PSA testing as a screening for PCa a political item for the provincial election.
First it was PSA, now it’s DRE.
I guess we just wait till they have symptoms then watch them die. GPs really don’t want to do very much, do they?
