[Hopespringpcsg] PCCN W-W MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP MEETING 22 MAY 2018

Hi all:

The monthly Prostate Cancer Support Group meeting will be held Tuesday 22
May 2018.

Venue: Rockway Community Centre 1405 King St. East, Kitchener.

Time: 1900 -2030 hrs.

Anne Breakey Hart of Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC)is scheduled to drop in.

Rumour has it she will be bringing gourmet cookies.

After a 5 minute update by Anne on what PCC is doing, the evening will be
for newcomers & updates from returning members on their progress in their
PCa journeys.

We have 2 events for which we need manpower.

The 1st event is Motor Cycle Ride For Dad on Saturday 2 Jun 2018. Michael
Wilson (519 653-3557 & michael at wilsonlink.com) is co-ordinating our input
for this event & needs a couple of people for 0730 hrs to assist in setting
up & then manning the PCCN W-W tent for about an hour. Again around 1230 hrs
a few people are needed to hand out our contact cards as riders line up for
lunch.

The 2nd event is the Highwaymen Car Club annual Graffiti Car Show on Sunday
10 Jun 2018 at the Waterloo Rod & Gun Club in St. Jacobs. Time is from 0930
hrs to 1500 hrs. 2 more people are needed to assist in setting up & manning
our tent. I am co-ordinating this event (519 826-0716 Glen Tolhurst). Sun
block is suggested as this is held in an open field.

 

Dress for both events is black tie T-shirt.
