The weather and people's schedules are playing havoc with our speaker
schedule so far this year.

 

Last month, I postponed our speakers from Astellas Pharma Canada at the last
minute because of the icy weather. They will be here on May 15.

This month, we had hoped to have Dr. Andrew Feifer from Credit Valley
Hospital but he has had to postpone until June.

 

Despite the bad weather, a hardy group of 7 of us met last month at
Wellspring. In spite of (or maybe because of?) the small size of our group,
we managed to talk about (among other things) Active Surveillance, Avodart,
MRI-guided ultrasound, Kegel exercises, SABR radiation, and Brachytherapy.
Not bad for less than 2 hours!

 

The weather will be a lot kinder this coming week, so let's have a big
attendance and an even bigger list of topics covered.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday.

P.S. Does anyone belong to another group (service club, men's group, church
group, whatever) that might be interested in a speaker on Prostate Cancer?
