Hi all:

I received a notification yesterday about the passing of one of our members, Gary Brenner.

It was from facebook which I couldn’t open.

Fortunately, Lorraine, one of our Steering Group members opened it and inserted it below.

Gary joined our group a couple of years back when we were still meeting at the Andrew St. location of HopeSpring.

Though he was metastatic, he was always upbeat and had a sense of humour.

Some may recall that he said whenever he needed to smoke some weed to help manage his condition that, since he lived in the student area of Waterloo, he could just knock on the wall to  get some. 

Also, he was reputedly quite a gardener.

Remember Gary in your own way.

FYI   Gary Brenner was the funny guy that lived near students. He said he could get marijuana very easily.  Sorry to hear he passed away.
