More than 1,000 people gathered in Lincoln Park to raise awareness for prostate cancer along with funds to help Us TOO provide Support, Education, and Advocacy for the prostate cancer community at no charge. Prostate Cancer Pathways is a new, dynamic educational event and webcast series from Us TOO International for men with prostate cancer and their loved ones. BRCA Blue is an initiative to help educate patients and caregivers about the connection between BRCA gene mutations and prostate cancer. While some people may have heard about BRCA genes and their relationship to breast and ovarian cancers, research has shown a connection to other cancers as well – including prostate cancer. Men who have a BRCA mutation are at a higher risk for developing prostate cancer than men without a BRCA mutation. Recently, Congress expanded the geographic limits for exposure to Agent Orange.
