My name is Debbie Mann, a Breast Cancer Survivor, a BCS Dragon Boater and a Podcaster. In 2018, my Waterloo team and I had the privilege of participating in the International Dragon Boat Festival for breast cancer survivors in Florence, Italy, where over 3500 women from across the world gathered; we paddled hard, shared inspiring stories, laughed a lot and shared many tears.

This trip inspired me to start a podcast, sharing the stories of courageous women and men's cancer journey, and so far, there are over 22 posted on <http://www.debbiemann.ca/itunes> iTunes, <http://www.debbiemann.ca/Google> Google Podcasts, <http://www.debbiemann.ca/Spotify> Spotify and more. Stories are from breast cancer, prostate cancer and multiple myeloma survivors; from our dragon boat coach; and a couple of non-cancer related stories, but inspiring non the less.

The name of the podcast is Keep Your Pecker Up and I know it sounds like a strange name, but, as I was going through my journey in 2016/2017, my sister would send me notes signing off with this, and it would make me laugh and lighten my spirit. The origin is originally from the UK, actually meaning to keep your spirits/chin up, and I just had to use it for my recordings.

It is my hope that you can find time in your busy schedule to tune in on your favorite platform (links above) to listen to the two men (links below) who shared thier stories with me, and to share these with your group. If you would be willing, or know others who would be willing to share thier stories, please send them my way.

In this season of Thanksgiving, I wish you to a KYPU Life.
