Hi all:

Attached is an article about Liquid Biopsies.

It can be used in place of needle biopsies, particularly in lung & prostate cancers.

It is available in Canada with the blood sample being taken at a Life Labs clinic.

It is not yet a fully funded procedure under provincial health care systems.

It may take some pressure to  get a doctor to order the test & there may be a cost associated with it.

Advocacy to get it as a “covered” test  for PCa should be considered.

 

So, spread the word throughout your network that there is an alternative to a needle biopsy.
