[Hopespringpcsg] Cancer Research Study

The */Health and Wellness Lab, Faculty of Kinesiology,/**/University of 
Calgary /*is looking for participants for a study to understandthe 
relationships between physical activity, body image, and quality of life 
for young adult (YA) males living with and beyond cancer. The results of 
this studywill inform our knowledge of these relationships, with the 
overall aim to be able to effectively target body image via tailored 
physical activity interventions and in turn improve overall quality of 
life for YA males living with and beyond cancer.

Specifically, we are recruiting YA males(biological sex or those who 
identify as males)diagnosed with cancer between the ages of 20-39,who 
are able to*speak and understand English*, be at*any stage of 
treatment*(pre-, undergoing, or post-), and*be able to participate in an 
online questionnaire and an interview*either online, on the phone, or 
in-person.

If you agree to participate for this study, you will be asked to 
complete a very brief questionnaire, including demographic items and 
self-reported measures on physical activity, body image, and quality of 
life. At the end of the questions, you will have the option to indicate 
your interest to participate in a brief (around 30 minutes) interview. 
Interviews will be arranged at a time and location convenient for the 
participant.
