Our monthly meeting for April will be held online by Zoom, rather than at Wellspring.

  

We are doing this to accommodate a special guest speaker, Dr Andrew Matthew from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

  

Dr Matthew has been involved in the prostate cancer field for over 25 years but he is a psychologist rather than a surgeon or oncologist.

  

His interest is in health-related quality of life, survivorship, psychosocial support and sexual rehabilitation. 

  

In other words, he is the doctor we all want - who cares about the person and not just the prostate!

  

Dr Matthews presentation is entitled Prostate Cancer Diagnosis, Treatment, and Physical/Psychological Recovery

  

We are very fortunate to have Dr Matthew willing to spend time with us this month so I encourage everyone (and their spouses) to tune in (and ask your questions).
