This presentation will cover the following:
 
1) The processing and examination of radical prostatectomy specimens
 
2) features pathologists must report for purposes of prognosis and guiding additional treatment after surgery, if required
 
3) the structure of a radical prostatectomy report
 
4) sources of variability in the reporting process and the importance quality assurance reviews by other pathologists
 
5) an update on the state of artificial intelligence technology as applied to prostate pathology.

As well, ZOOM has allowed us to expand our range of speaker possibilities. Prostate Cancer Support Toronto is a non-profit- support group run by volunteers who help men and their families to manage a prostate cancer diagnosis.

   - raising the level of prostate cancer awareness
   - educating men who have been diagnosed
   - providing personal and family support. 
 

 
Our message is very simple: see your doctor on a regular basis as early detection is very important when dealing with prostate cancer.
