                              Job Announcement
 
The Department of Speech and Theatre - Kutztown University invites
applications for a full-time, permanent, tenure-track position in Directing,
effective September 1995.  Will teach 7 courses/year, (including Intro. to
Theatre, Fund. of Acting, & Directing); directing one major Dept. prod. per
year.  Minimum qualifications include: MFA in Directing or PhD in Theatre; 3
yrs. ful-time college teaching in courses listed above; directing a variety
of styles and periods;l proven college directing experience in small
undergraduate liberalarts setting; prefered qualification: secondary
expertise in advanced voice training in Linklater and/or Alexander.
Candidate will be required to to submit directorial vido tape prior to
interview.  Candidates invited to campus will work with theatre students.
Qualified candidates may apply sending current vita, official graduate and
undergraduate transcripts; 3 current letters of recommendation addressing
teaching/directing abilities, and personal stmnt. of qualifications to :
