CyberStage is a new magazine publshed out of Toronto that looks at the new
wave of artists who use technology in the work, and also at the way art is
influencing the design of technology. This includes anything from
performing to visiual art, from analog to digital, from interface to
software design. We are a paper publication, not e-zine yet. To give you an
idea as to the kinds of things we cover, our first issue (available now),
covered the work of Videocabaret, Vancouver's Centre of Image and Sound
Research, McLuhan's revelancy in the '90s, Brenda Laurel's new work, and
the thoughts of Laurie-Shawn Borzovoy (the first electronic media designer
to be given membership in the Associated Designers of Canada).

The premiere issue of CyberStage: The Magazine of Art and Technology, is
now on the stands. We are now in the middle of planning our next issue, due
out March 1994.

Part of our mandate is to provide a forum for voices that want to be heard.
To that end, we invite anyone who wishes to contribute articles, tidbits,
press releases, whatever, to drop e-mail about anything you would like us
to cover or anything you would like to contribute.

To get more info on the mag, find out how to order a copy of the premiere
issue or throw ideas at us for articles, e-mail me at

Thanks
