        Please pass this position announcement to colleagues, friends
        and former students who might be interested in applying.
        Apologies for reposting, but I'm hoping clarification might
        improve response. ALD
 
          Position Opening:
 
          SCENIC AND LIGHTING DESIGNER/TECHNICAL DIRECTOR/TEACHER
          Temporary (one year) full-time position in theatre production,
          beginning Fall, 1995.  Bridgewater State College is 30 miles
          south of Boston, with 6 theatre faculty, a great group of
          students, current theatre facilities, adequate shops, and
          reasonable production budgets.
          Responsibilities:  Teach 2 courses per term, and direct
          technical production for 4-show, 2-dance mainstage season.
          Construction is supervised by staff ATD.  Lighting and some
          scenic design responsibilities.  Supervise student designers.
          Qualifications:  Appropriate masters degree required, terminal
          degree preferred.  Commitment to excellence in teaching,
          preparation and experience in scenic and lighting design and
          technical direction.  Prior college teaching is a plus.
          Salary:  Rank and salary depending upon qualifications and
          experience.
