N.L.C. access??

I've been trying for several months to see if it is possible to access
the OPAC at the NLC via internet. A message on their WWW site says that
as of late 1995 such service will be available. This is no early 1996 and
despite numerous efforts, and numerous requests sent for information,
I've learned nothing.
 
Does anyone know if such service is available, and if so, what the magic
keystrokes must be to make it work??
