Readings to be broadcast on CBC Radio

The Shaw Festival's 1997 series of live lunchtime readings, entitled the
"Bell Canada Reading Series," will be broadcast nationally on CBC Radio
next month. Each show can be heard on Radio-1's Sunday Night Showcase
(AM) at 10 pm, and will be repeated the next night on Radio-2's Monday
Night Playhouse (FM) at 9 pm.

The productions are:
Feb 1-2  The Titanic by E.J. Pratt,
  adapted and directed by Christopher Newton

Feb 8-9  Still Stands the House by Gwen Pharis Ringwood,
  directed by Denis Johnston

Feb 15-16  Mr Shaw (a programme of miscellany by GBS),
  adapted and directed by Dennis Garnhum

Feb 22-23  The Intruder by Maurice Maeterlinck,
  directed by Neil Munro
