 IS SEEKING AN INSTRUCTOR
 FOR THE YEAR 1 DRAMA SURVEY COURSE

DRAM  1F93 : INTRODUCTION TO DRAMA. FUNDAMENTALS OF DRAMATIC CRITICISM :
STUDY OF SELECTED DRFAMATIC TEXTS FROM ANCIENT GREECE TO THE PRESENT;
EMPHASIS ON GENRE,CONVENTIONAND HISTORICAL CONTEXT

 THE COURSE IS SCHEDULED FOR      WED 2:30-3:30  - LECTURE
                                THURS 2:30 -3:30 - LECTURE
AND ONE SEMINAR                 EITHER W 3:30-4:30 OR TH 3:30 -4:40
 PLUS ONE OFFICE HOUR BEFORE OR AFTER CLASS/SEMINAR

THE COURSE USUALLY ATTRACTS ABOUT 60-70 STUDENTS, A MIXTURE OF THEATRE AND
DRAMATIC LITERATURE STUDENTS AND STUDENTS FROM OTHER DISCIPLINES WHO ARE
TAKING THE COURSE AS A HUMANITIES' ELECTIVE.  THEY ARE ASSIGNED ONE OF
THREE TO FOUR SEMINARS  LEAD BY T.A.S WHO ALSO MARK tTHE ESSAYS.SUPERVISION
OF THE TA.S IS PART OF THE JOB.

 We work from an anthology adding one Canadian play to the mix.

Remuneration is  $6304
