Gelinas

This morning, CBC English radio here in Mtl. replayed an interview
with Gelinas first broadcast in 1982. Then our long-time ACTR
member Jean-Cleo Godin was interviewed, and spoke eloquently
and thoughtfully about Gelinas' work and, of course, about particular
plays.  Cleo said, as many of us have thought, that Gelinas'
best play is Bousille et les justes. Evidently on television
last night, Michel Tremblay described Gelinas as his spiritual
father. . .
