STILL TIME TO REGISTER FOR THE 2001
NEW ENGLAND ARCHIVISTS SPRING MEETING
"ARCHIVES AND/IN THE ARTS" MAY 4-5

There is still time to register for "Archives and/in
the Arts," the New England Archivists 2001 spring
meeting scheduled for May 4-5 at Dartmouth College,
Hanover, NH. This meeting highlights the relationship
between archives and the performing and visual arts.

The program includes a workshop Friday May 4 on
reference and access, as well as concurrent sessions
Saturday May 5 documenting French-Canadian
communities, animation, cooperative projects, the use
of performing arts archives by contemporary artists,
fine arts and performance school archives,
non-traditional uses of archives, collaboration,
television and videoptape collections, archives in
art, and the archives of a performing arts
insititution.

Cost of the Friday workshop is $40 for NEA members and
$60 for non-members. Registration for Saturday's
activities is $45 for NEA members, $65 for
non-members, and $22.50 for students. A late fee of
$15 applies for all registrations received after April
25. Lunch
is included in the registration cost. A registration
