ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - PERFORMANCE

The University of Lethbridge, Faculty of Fine Arts, Division of Theatre
and Dramatic Arts,
invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the
Assistant Professor level to teach
performance, effective July1, 2001.

A MFA or equivalent graduate degree  is required along with a
demonstrated record of creative
activity, scholarly  research and excellence in teaching. The successful
candidate will teach core
courses in acting, Theatre for Young Audiences, Introduction to Dramatic
Arts, as well as, other
courses according to programme needs and the instructor’s interest and
expertise. The successful
candidate must also have the desire and ability to participate in the
development and operation of
the Division of Dramatic Arts and the Faculty.

The Faculty of Fine Arts, housed in the Centre for the Arts with
state-of-the-art equipment and
facilities, offers degree programs in Music, Art, Drama, and Multimedia
within the liberal arts
education context and focuses on excellence in teaching and research/
creative activity. Founded
in 1967, the University is located in southern Alberta, and has an
enrolment of more than 6000

expertise, curriculum vitae,
official  transcripts, a statement of teaching philosophy, current
research program, and samples of
recent publications/ performances.  Also, arrange for  three letters of
