Michael Redhill, Lake Nora Arms is a musical and poetic journey into the
world of an old cottage-country hotel on the shores of Lake Nora. Based on
Redhill's book of poems, Lake Nora Arms is an a cappella musical about the
magic of summers at a northern lake. Conceived as a series of interlocking
songs (composed by Jane Miller) and monologues, Lake Nora Arms evokes that
world through the episodic story of five individuals who each visited the
Arms in the past.
Featuring: Alex Fallis, Peggy Mahon, Sophia Perlman, Eliza Jane Scott and
Jay Turvey

Hope you can join us for an afternoon of beautiful words and music,
Brian Quirt (Artistic Director) & Naomi Campbell (Producer).

Nightswimming is a dramaturgical company which develops new plays,
performance works and dance. We commit to long-term relationships with our
writers and provide them with the tools they need: substantial commissions;
readings and workshops as required; high calibre casts; on-going
dramaturgical support; and a developmental process that is uniquely suited
to their requirements. We believe this approach has and will continue to
inspire these artists to create some of their best work.

We have just completed a very successful workshop and public reading of Don
Druick's latest play, THE FROZEN DEEP. Other recent projects have included
the following commissions:
*  Jason Sherman's Governor General's Award nominee,
         AN ACRE OF TIME (Tarragon Theatre);
* Brian Quirt's adaptation of Jane Urquhart's novel, THE WHIRLPOOL
(Tarragon Theatre);
*  Ned Dickens CITY OF WINE trilogy;
* Julia Sasso's choreographic piece, BEAUTY,
        which premieres next June at the Canada Dance Festival;
*  Claudia Dey's THE SOLITARIES.
