The Department of Theatre at Dalhousie University invites
applications for a four month sabbatical replacement
appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor,
commencing Jan. 1, 2002.  Candidates should be trained as
specialists in Voice and Speech and will be expected to voice-
coach two Departmental productions.  The qualifications
required for this position include: (1) MA, MFA or equivalent;
(2) teaching experience at the post-secondary level; (3)
professional experience as an actor and/or coach; and (4)
training ability in the following areas:  speech, vocal production,
text analysis, and IPA. This position is subject to budgetary
approval.

and three confidential letters of reference, forwarded by the
referees, should be sent to the Chair, Department of
Theatre, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3H 3J5,
by October 31, 2001.
