Theatre NorthWest

Associate Manager

Theatre North West seeks applications for the new position of Associate
Manager. A background in mid or senior level Theatre Administration or
Arts Management is particularly desirable. Candidates with non-profit
sector experience and the necessary skills and aptitude may be
considered. As TNW is a smaller and often innovated organization the
appropriate candidate will be a generalist. This is NOT an entry-level
position.

As part of the theatre’s senior team, the candidate should have proven
administrative acumen and be at ease with:
· Sponsorship Programs
· Development activities
· Managing ancillary revenue activities (Special Events, sold services,
and retailing)
· Corporate and Community Liaison
· Educational Programs
· Support of the administration/production team as time permits,
including acting as relief House Manager.

This position reports to and works in association with the General
Manager. Candidates need initiative, a serious work ethic, the stamina
required for periods of intense activity and an ability to work in a
highly collaborative fashion. It is essential that candidates can
demonstrate a long- standing interest in the arts. Hours and days of
work will fluctuate, at times erratically, according to the theatre
season and production cycles. This is a position for an individual who:
thrives on variety, is endlessly eager to be helpful whether it be with
the menial or the complex, and has a flawless reputation for being
reliable, thorough, and good tempered.

Salary for a fully qualified candidate: $40,000/annum
                                                                 Up to 6
weeks paid holiday
                                                                 Start
date negotiable
