Hello Ed, et al on CANDRAMA:

I too received the sad news from Patrick O'Neill of Sister Geraldine's
passing, although I am sure she would expect us to remember her with great
joy, not sorrow. Like Patrick, Ed, Anton and Anne, who have already written
on CANDRAMA, I had the enormous pleasure of knowing her and working with her
in a number of capacities. As Anne said, Geraldine was an "original", not
just as a founding member of ACTR/ACTH, and a scholar and Sister of Charity,
but in her very person. Sister Geraldine knew how to live. Who can forget
her gleeful outrageousness as she led groups of us to sample the highlights
of local culture during the annual conferences? Who can forget her
remarkable dedication to theatre research or her outgoing personality or her
wit or incomparable willingness to contribute to a better society? Indeed,
Sister Geraldine will be missed by all those who had the extreme good
fortune to know her and to learn from her.

With admiration for a great soul
Richard Plant
