Wow...memories.

I played pianist and musical director Jack Ayre of the Dumbells  in a CBC TV movie about the troupe. Circa '76-'77.

Heath LAMBERTS played  one of the Plunketts (Merton I think ), Gordon Thompson (of Dynasty fame) played a lovely Marjorie (Ross Hamilton) and Derek McGrath played, I think, Allan Murray.

It may be in the CBC Archives.

There was a couple of stage versions around that time as well.

Scott Thompson, of Kids in the Hall fame has a little homage that you can see on YouTube with some DBells clips.
