Much of my work at the University of Waterloo takes place on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishnaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples. UW’s main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes 10 kilometres on each side of the Grand River. The university’s active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within the Office of Indigenous Relations<https://uwaterloo.ca/indigenous/>.
