[Acocoops] Co-op Connection Summary - January 19, 2024

Good morning, Co-Ops,

Below is a summary of what was discussed during out connection meeting this morning.


  *   Asked how previous 2 weeks were
     *   Ana noted that they have been working on a lot of Jira tickets and they feel they have been getting a good variety of issues and have been solving them with guidance from Spencer. Noted printer tickets were pretty straight forward.
  *   1 on 1's scheduled for Monday January 22, 2024
     *   Will be setting goals
     *   Assigning some projects/tasks
  *   Newsletter articles
     *   Noted that you have several ideas, would like you to pick 2
     *   Would like to hear pitches for newsletter articles during 1 on 1 on Monday
  *   Help Desk re-opening delayed to week of January 29 (Tuesday and Thursday) so that we can do final preparations
  *   ACO team meetings
     *   Explained that they usually happen every other Thursday and should be rescheduled soon
  *   Key boxes being set up
     *   Explained that one keycode lock is set up on ACO external door that they will keep their keys in lockbox and pick up when they start and drop off when they leave.
     *   Explained that we don't want the chance for keys to be lost outside of ACO due to the access we have with our keys.
  *   Open Table
     *   Ana
        *   Digital Signage/Wayfinding
           *   Noted that in SLC the wayfinding station is doing digital signage and often confuses students it's intended purpose as they think it's just a sign and not a map to find things
           *   Noted that our intended purpose would not be for digital signage and there is a larger display being installed above HH Helpdesk for the purpose and any wayfinding station would be strictly map function
     *   Spencer
        *   Confluence permissions
           *   Advised permissions are confirmed and set using their watiamID at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:watiamID at uwaterloo.ca> account
           *   Peta confirmed that it was working and perhaps the link they were previously using was no longer valid
  *   Upcoming Training
     *   Imaging 101 (This afternoon)
