Hello,

Can we create a knowledge based article on meetings?

They already may be there, but just sending to be sure.

Also, we should start developing how to leverage Zoom meeting with video cameras, similar to what we did for past Dean’s talk!

Given few IT groups are embracing Zoom, we should be leaders, given I think Deans would appreciate using Zoom instead of Teams !!!

Jason had some insights from Dean’s area on the need !!!

Here are the steps for inviting attendees for Teams and Zoom



Microsoft Teams/Outlook

I would recommend using Outlook to book for Teams Meetings.

Open Outlook

Click on the Calendar icon.

Click on 'Create new event'

You can select Teams Meeting, Skype Meeting or Online meeting

type in the names and/or email addresses of individuals

Click 'Save'

Zoom

Open zoom.us


click on SSO

type in uwaterloo for the domain
you will be prompted to login to your uwaterloo account

Click on 'Schedule Meeting'

type in the names and/or email addresses of individuals

then click 'Send'
