[Anthsoc] Meet the Profs Night

Hello and thanks for joining the UW Student Anthropology Society mailing 
list.

Our first event of the year is an annual icebreaker that is always 
popular. On Tuesday October 2nd at 4:30 p.m. the Grad House will host 
our annual Meet the Profs Night (sometimes referred to as "what I did on 
my summer vacation")! This is a relaxed function at which you can meet 
the faculty, find out their interests and hear what they've been working 
on. It also offers you the opportunity to meet fellow members of the 
society who share your interest in anthropology and hear what 
anthropology related activities they've been up to during the summer. So 
don't be shy, we'd love to see you come out.

For those of you new to the campus, the Grad House is the old white farm 
house in the heart of the campus behind South Campus hall. We will be 
meeting UPSTAIRS. Students who have not reached age of majority are 
welcome but under University policy are able to stay only until 6:00 
p.m.. As it would happen, Tuesdays are the Grad House's open house days 
so you don't need to be a grad student or sign in to enter. :)
