Please find attached a flier giving details of a credit-bearing
archaeological field school opportunity in Ireland and the Isle of Man for
2013, organized by the University of Liverpool (UK).  The fieldwork
concentrates on late prehistoric and historic periods, but gives training
in methods (both survey and excavation) relevant to most periods. A
registration form is attached. ****

We have had a steady flow of Canadian students in previous years, from all
parts of the country. They have found the programme extremely beneficial,
and many have continued onto graduate programmes in Canada or elsewhere. We
emphasise comparisons between North American and UK methods so that the
experiences can be transferred, and the three elements of written work
ensure that knowledge is consolidated and preserved in more than memories.**
