Hello everyone,



Apologies for nagging, but we really need to hear from you if you are
interested in taking ANTH 395, Study Abroad in Italy, in the spring
term. To reiterate, this is the study course in Italy next May, during
which we will visit Rome, Sienna, Florence, Naples and Paestum, as
well as day trips to a number of smaller towns. The subject material
will be quite broad, ranging from Etruscan archaeology to Medieval and
Baroque art and churches.



Due to the lack of response, we are now facing the real possibility of
canceling the course. If you are interested, please contact me by
e-mail immediately. Also, we have instituted a deadline of 12:00
(noon) on Friday February 25 to submit the first deposit of $100. If
we do not have the required number of students by that date, we will
probably cancel the course.



This course is open to all Anthropology students, and anyone else who
has taken at least one course in archaeology or classical studies, or
has other significant background in the topic.
