Alberta Gaming Research Institute, University of Lethbridge will discuss 
the history of Internet gambling, its prevalence world wide and the 
issues and problems with Internet gambling

Dr. Williams is the world's best funded problem gambling researcher with 
47 million in funding and is considered one of the world's leading 
authorities in several areas.  His main research interests include: 
Internet gambling, the socioeconomic impacts of gambling, the assessment 
and prevention of problem gambling, the proportion of gambling revenue 
deriving from problem gamblers, the prevalence and nature of gambling in 
Aboriginal communities and the etiology of problem solving.
